The name of the company is Retro Bridge BV and our head quarters is located at the Bruistensingel 152, 5232 AC ‘s Hertogenbosch in The Netherlands. Subsidiaries are to be found in Belgium, France and a world-wide network of agents at her disposal. The company rents out, lease and / or sells steel-, steel / concrete bridges, pontoons and RoRo facilities on the European market and overseas, but we could also provide you with a price of related permanent steel structures.

Retro Bridge has three participators in the Group, who can deliver steel and manufacture it into all kinds of steel constructions:

–         De Jong & Lavino BV from Geldermalsen NL; steel supplier

–         Smulders Groep BV from Helmond NL; steel manufactory

–         Iemants NV from Arendonk Belgium; steel manufactory

Retro Bridge may be a new name on the market, the people behind are very experienced; together our Mister P. Janson and H. Kastermans have got over 35 years of experience. This makes Retro Bridge BV a very strong and flexible company, who can keep everything internal and there for provide you as our client with sharp prices and good advisements.

Retro Bridge’s system comprises of modular bridge systems as:

·         Emergency bridges;

·         Semi-permanent steel bridges;

·         Permanent bridges.

From the very versatile to be build in remote areas for development of local community- and national infrastructures to the heavy duty bridges in urban areas with high-density circulation and for contractors heavy plant equipment. All configurations designed and calculated according to the client’s inquiry.

We are also designer, manufacturer and constructor of pontoons, linkspans and RoRo facilities (fixed – hydraulic - floaters or combinations). They are to be found in all ports, especially in ports with tidal ranges and in remote coastal areas for the off-loading of heavy plant for refineries and mining industries. We have in Antwerp / Hoboken, located in Belgium, a factory with a very large dock facility, where we can make every pontoon and bridge dimension. The enormous production hall is provided with two heavy lift gantry cranes and is situated along the Schelde. An open connection to the sea permits barges, coasters and installation vessels to load/unload at our berth.

Assembly of all (temporary) bridges, pontoons and RoRo facilities are carried out by our own experienced crew or may be done by client – in exception – on request with supervisory assistance by one of our engineers or field operators.

Design, manufacture, erection and assembly are carried out within our internal high guidelines of quality assurance, satisfying clients with accuracy and punctuality.
